After three months at college, the idea of going home to your loved ones can be filled with different emotions. After tackling the long nights in the library and the midterm breakdowns all you want to do is go home, pet your dog and pig out in your own kitchen. However be warned as this visit may cause an overwhelming amount of questions from distant family members over a much appreciated turkey dinner. Some things you should prepare yourself to hear over the meal may be….
1)You look like you’re gaining the freshman fifteen. What have you been eating there? You know you can’t have chipotle for every meal!
2) So are you seeing anybody? What’s the dating scene like there?
3) Are you cleaning up after yourself? Do you and your roommate get along well? How does your dorm room look?
4)Do you go out to parties? What do you do for fun on the weekends? Do people drink too much alcohol there?
5)How’s the food there? What’s the dining hall like? Are there enough options on campus?
6)Have you met nice people? Was it easy making friends? What was it like your first week of school who did you meet?
7)At the end of all the apple pie, overloading questions and love and affection you where happy to see your family but you’ve never been more excited to head back to school…
